Irene is an improv teacher, director, and performer based in Brooklyn, NY. She has worked with children, teens, adults & seniors through afterschool programs, camps, theaters, and community organizations, helping students build confidence, creativity, teamwork, and their own comedic voice. Irene’s classes combine high-energy theater games, storytelling, character work, and improvisation in a warm, encouraging environment where every child can shine.
Melissa Parker Caron
Co-Founding Funster
Melissa Parker Caron is a Brooklyn-based teaching artist, actor, and mom who works with kids of all ages. A former nanny and current PTA board member, she brings a deep understanding of children, community, and creative play into everything she does.
Melissa believes that saying a wholehearted "yes" to play and pretending isn't just for kids — it's for all of us. And in her classes, she helps children rediscover exactly that.
Her classes are fun, high-energy spaces where games and stories unfold — where kids get to play big, imagine freely, and embrace whatever comes next.
